Hot Pink & Zebra!

Brighton made this fantastic skirt, headband & flowers
to model in the upcoming fashion show at the Maricopa County Fair
in a few weeks.
The skirt is pleated and has a zipper in the back.
The flowers were Brighton's touch!
She is going to make one heck of a
fashion designer someday!!

Pioneer Children Sang as They Walked

Two of my kids went on a Pioneer Trek re-enactment last week. They had to push or pull a handcart over 25 miles in 2 days! It was a great experience for them. I got to make some of the clothing for it.
They were required to wear traditional pioneer clothing. This is one of the skirts & aprons that I made.

I made the apron from some of the scrap fabric that I have.
I think it looks cute pieced.

I used my ruffler foot to make the ruffle on the pocket.

The flower adds just the right touch. :)

The second apron became a little "simpler" as the evening got later.
I added a pleat to one side of the apron.

I did add a ruffle to the pocket as well as some rick rack.

A nice deep pocket to hold a water bottle,
and a ruffle to the bottom. Voila!

Recharging Station/Organizer

Check out this recharging station/organizer. It is designed to sit on your dresser and hold your IPod, cell phone, etc...

I love it!! I could use help getting organized!

Birthday Wishes

Yesterday was my birthday. I had so many birthday wishes from friends and family. We started the day off right with homemade cinnamon rolls with green frosting. It was not only my birthday but St. Patty's day too.
My 1st birthday gift! I lovegoing to the movies!! Well...I think I do. I don't go very often. I think the last movie I saw was Justin Bieber with my daughter. At least it wasn't animated. I guess it counts as an adult movie?! Hopefully I can use this movie pass for a chick flick. :)

Wonderful friends that brought me dinner so I didn't have to cook.So nice!! And it was super yummy too!!

My house was decorated with balloons and streamers.

I came home to these signs on my garage after going to
lunch with my kids to Joe's Farm Grill

Check out the green hair that came in the mail
from Janae.

All my kids got a kick out of wearing this.
They even put it on my 7 month old.

Emily was a great model until...
oh look it's a Justin Bieber commercial!

Thank you to all my fabul…

Adorable Half Apron

Lauren made this adorable half apron in class today for her sister.
I love the choice of colors Lauren picked. It just makes you want to go in the kitchen and start cooking.
We added a ruffle to the pocket
and a ruffle to the bottom.

Fabulous!!

Button Headbands

I love these headbands. They are simple to make and teach the girls how to sew on buttons.

They were so excited to make these.

The girls said they were going to go home and change to match their headbands. How cute is that?!!
