I picked this cute Satin dress up at a yard sale for $.50 It was missing the belt that went with it and was just a little plain. I had some blue satin scraps left over from the baby bedding I had just made. So I made flowers to embelish the dress and a tie to go around the waist in a blue satin. What a difference a little color makes! I am going to have Sophia wear this to church tomorrow. She is going to look so cute! Not to bad for $.50!!

Lauren in her fabulous furry p.j.'s. Lauren made these fantastic p.j. pants and put blue minky fur on the bottom. They look amazing!!

Ashlyn & Elizabeth Ashlyn & Elizabeth made these darling reversible bags in sewing class. They chose their own fabric & embelished the pockets with rick rack Great job!

Maddy made this adorable purple skirt in class. She learned to gather and how to create a casing for the elastic. Bailey & Alexa in their skirts. They are going to be wearing these to church on Sunday and they also want to enter them in the AZ State Fair . I can see the blue ribbon already!! Way to go girls!

Kate & Jamie made these adorable pajama pants in class. They both started sewing this summer and loved it. They made pillowcases for lots of family members after learning to make them in class. Great job girls!

This is my studio wall that I painted pink when I moved in a few weeks ago. It just needed something else. I had my stencil that I used in my last studio and thought it would be cute to do it in white this time. I just love this design! At first I thought it looked like a baby nursery with the pink & white but I am warming up to it. What do you think?

Double layered satin bedskirt. Blue satin cording on the bumber pads. This custom order crib bedding was made with super soft minky fabric. It is so yummy you just have to touch it. What baby wouldn't want to curl up and nap with this? I have an order for another one and can't wait to get started on it. The next one is for a baby girl. Black & white damask with pink accents. So fun!

I picked these iron keys up at an Estate sale for $7.00 I just loved them. I spray painted them white. It's just what I needed in my studio. (I didn't notice the mess on my work table that the mirror reflects until now) Oh well! :) I am in the middle of getting a few projects done.

I bought this frame from Ikea for about $25.00 and spray painted it white. I used some of my fabulous Amy Butler fabric, vintage door knobs and sheer ribbon to create my vintage memo board. I am in LOVE !

Landry made this adorable zebra bunny out of minky. It was so soft & cuddly. Fabulous job Landry!

Madelyn showed up to class today with flowers for me. How sweet is that?! I found the perfect spot for them in my studio. Thanks Madelyn! You made my day!!

Katie (10) made this super soft dog bed out of minky fabric today in class. We put my dog Kish on it to model. So super cute!! It's just his size! (Although she did make it for her dog) I am not sure Kish is going to want to give it up.

Abby & Piper made these adorable rag quilts today in class. They still need to be clipped and washed but they worked so hard to get them done and I think they turned out so cute! (Sorry about the blurry pic)

I love this purse!! This was a great pattern. We made pleats, darts, sewing a button and used the ruffler foot. They all turned out so cute!! I am going to teach this as an adult class. I want one!

How cute is this summer dress?!! We worked for several weeks on this dress. It was Jessana's 2nd time putting in a zipper. She did a great job on it.
