Wooden Initial Party

The girls with all their blinged out initials. Bling. The goody bags. The flower is a hair clip. Love it! These are so yummy! Pink gummy bears. Giant marshmellows dipped in chocolate & sprinkles. Yum! The gift table.

Re-purpose Sweater Wrap

I to a sweater that I have had for years and cut off the bottom just under the armpits. Serge the raw edge. Fold & pin. Turn under the serged side and sew along to finish off the bottom edge. I gathered down one side using a gathering stitch from the top to the bottom. Sew it with a regular 2.5 stitch to secure it. I took about a yard of black satin ribbon and gathered down one side. Then wrapped it around into the shape of a flower. Sewed through the center to secure it. Then added some left-over sweater piece for the center of the flower. And finished it off with some beads. I can't wait to wear it with the new black dress I just bought!

My New Look!

I got a blog make-over!! Isn't it great? I used the very talented Blog Fairy to re-design my blog. Emily was great to work with. She was able to figure out what I wanted and put it all together beautifully. She was quick and great to work with. I am so glad I found her!!I can't wait to make over something else. Thanks Emily!

Missing something

I bought this darling frilly dress at Marshall's for $14.99. It was cute but I felt like it was missing something. I added some brown satin ribbon onto every other ruffle. Took off the bow and added a cute ribbon flower. I love a good deal! So easy and so cute!! Sophia is going to love twirling around in this.
